TWO AIRLIFTED AFTER SERIOUS CRASH

On Thursday, October 5th at around 7 AM, the Franklin Township Police Department responded to a commercial motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Coles Mill Road(CR538) and Stanton Avenue in the Janvier section of Franklin Township.

Police investigation revealed that a residential transportation van traveling south on Stanton Avenue entered the intersection and collided with a dump truck traveling West on Coles Mill Road. The impact caused the van to flip and land in a nearby field. The dump truck, which was carrying sand, also flipped on its side and came to rest in the field. Police, Fire, and EMS extracted Christopher Solski, 31, and Nicholas Cournoyer, 42, both of Vineland from the van. They were airlifted to Cooper Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the van, Tamiko Graciani, was transported by ground to Inspira-Mullica Hill with injuries to her neck and hips. The crash is being investigated by Officer Alex Fragoso of the Franklin Township Police Department. Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
