RESOURCE OFFICERS IN ELEVEN SCHOOLS

Washington Twp. (Gloucester County): It was an incredibly meaningful day in Washington Township on Monday 10/2. Police Chief Gurcsik, Principal Anderson, Superintendent Dr. Hibbs, School President, Councilmembers and the Mayor along with several police officers came together to announce that we now have dedicated station resource officers in eleven schools.

This announcement symbolizes a promise made to the Washington Township community – that every child returns home safely every night, and that our dedicated teachers and staff also go home to their families without worry as officials are doing everything possible to ensure their safety.

Today’s announcement impacts approximately 9,000 individuals, and it is a testament to the power of unity and collaboration while working together in a commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.
