Obituary for John J. Spatafore
John J. (Sonny) Spatafore, 72, of Malaga, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Saturday evening February 4, 2017 in the Kennedy Health Systems-Washington Twp., NJ. John was born in Atlantic City, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Malaga. He was the son of the late Mary Kaiser Goldsmid & Ed Kaiser. He was also pre deceased by his brother Ed Kaiser & sister Rose Mary Bowers (Robert).
John was a graduate of Delsea Regional High School Class of 1962. Before retiring, John was employed as a mechanic & parts manager for Malaga “Jeep” Service Garage where he worked for many years. He was a lifelong member of the Malaga Assembly of God. He enjoyed his family, friends, baseball, coaching Little League and old cars.
He is survived by his wife of 46 yrs.; Joyce (Mazziotta), 2 sons; Jonathan & Jarrod, brother; Samuel Kaiser, sister; Peggy Sue Yates, sister in-law; Betty Ann Kaiser as well as several nieces & nephews and cousins.
A memorial funeral service will be at the Malaga Assembly of God Church, 377 Dutch Mill Rd., Malaga on 2/24 /17 at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made C/O the Church memorial fund.
