HOUSE FIRE, West Blvd., Malaga, NJ
On Monday, December 11th at 8:57 pm police and fire crews were called to a fully involved house fire in the 1700 block of West Boulevard in Franklin Township’s (Gloucester County) Malaga section. Initial dispatch reports indicated that three occupants of the two-story dwelling were trapped inside. The first arriving fire crews and first responders were able to successfully rescue all three victims, who were all residents of the dwelling. A 77-year-old male and 76-year-old female were transported by air to burn centers in Philadelphia. A 31-year-old male was transported by ground to Crozier-Chester Medical Center in Chester. As of 6 am on December12th all three victims were listed in critical condition. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Gloucester County Fire Marshall’s Office.
