Clayton Police Arrest Two With 163 bags of Heroin

On Wednesday, February 8th, Clayton Police in conjunction with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant on a residence on the 500 Block of N. Broad St. Clayton. The search warrant was the result of over a month long investigation into the illegal activities of the two defendants. Upon searching the defendants’ residence 163 bags of suspected heroin was recovered along with a small amount of Suboxone pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

The defendants are identified as Willis L. Cooper, age 35 from Clayton and Sunshine Jarrell age 35 year from Clayton.

Willis L. Cooper was charged with four (4) counts of possession of C.D.S (heroin), four (4) counts distribution of C.D.S. (heroin), two (2) counts distribution of C.D.S. in a school zone, and

possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunshine A. Jarrell was charged with one (1) count of Possession of C.D.S (heroin), one (1) count of distribution of C.D.S. (heroin) in school zone, one (1) count of possession of marijuana, and one (1) count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sunshine Jarrell also had numerous outstanding warrants for her arrest.

Det. Jackson Harrington from the Clayton Police Department was the lead investigator and charging officer.
