YMCA Schedules Lifeguard Recertification Classes

Lifeguards who are interested in earning recertification ahead of the summer months can accomplish this at the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA in April. The Y will host an ARC (American Red Cross) Lifeguard Recertification course on April 14 and 15 for both Lifeguard and Waterfront Lifeguard credentials. Those who need these recertifications are encouraged to contact the YMCA at (856)691-0030 for more details. Registration is underway now. The courses will be held throughout the two days, a Saturday and Sunday, as scheduled. They will include classwork, pool time, and more, plus content in the newest Lifeguarding manual. The prices for each class are $150 for YMCA facility members and $175 for all others.
