LILLIAN S. BENCKERT (STOWMAN) – Obituary

             Lillian S. Benckert (Stowman) age 64, of Williamstown passed away 12/26/17 surrounded by her family.  Lilly is survived by her life partner Joe Puglia of 40 years, her children Shannon Benckert, Joey Benckert (Ginger) and JJ Puglia (Danielle) as well as her 8 beautiful grandchildren.  She is also survived by her mother Lillian Beattie, 3 brothers and sister. She graduated from Clayton HS in 1972 and previously worked for the NJ Dept of Fish & Wildlife.

            Lilly was born in Elmer, NJ to Howard & Lillian Stowman (McCormick) on 6/26/53 and grew up in Clayton, NJ before residing in Williamstown for the past 40+ years. Family & friends are invited to a visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home in Clayton, on Sat. 12/30/17 from 11 am to 12:30 pm.  Memorial Service at 12:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540 or at autismspeaks.org.
