LEWIS GLENN ROBINSON – Obituary

Lewis Glenn Robinson of Swedesboro on Friday, January 13, 2017.  Age 59.  Husband of Beth Ann (nee Millar) Robinson.  Father of Katie Taylor, Lisa Darnell, Payton Cammer, and Morgan Cammer.  Grandfather of 5.  Brother of Judith (James) Haynicz and RoseMarie (Walter) Herman.  Son-in-law of Joe and Barbara Millar, and brother-in-law of Joe Millar, II.  Son of the late Lewis Charles and Marie Ann (nee Volpe) Robinson.  Also survived by his cat, Nene.
Born and raised in Woodbury, Lewis was a longtime resident of Monroeville and most recently of Swedesboro.  He was a 1975 graduate of Woodbury High School and worked as a printer for his father at Constitution Print Company in Woodbury for 19 years.  Lewis became a missionary with New Tribes Mission and worked in Brazil for 12 years.  Most recently, he was a tree and shrub specialist with TruGreen.  Lewis’s passion though was farming and the trees and lilies he raised.  He was happiest walking on his farm along with Beth and Nene.  Lewis enjoyed bird watching and loved going to the Cape May Bird Observatory.  He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Flyers.  His wife remembers him as a bit of a folk artist and also handy at fixing things.
