KIDNAP, ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED AS FUGITIVES

Kidnap, Robbery Suspects Arrested As Fugitives

The Fugitive Investigations Unit of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office on 1/12/17 arrested a Williamstown man charged with first-degree kidnapping and a Glassboro man charged with second-degree robbery,  both suspects having failed to appear on the charges the previous day in Central Judicial Processing Court, Woodbury. Michael S. Massey age 20 was taken into custody without incident at a Williamstown apartment where FIU officers determined he was staying.  Massey is charged with kidnapping a woman from her Williamstown residence on 11/8/16,  as well as assaulting her and theft of a cell phone from her.   Following his arrest, Massey was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department and was to be held without bail. FIU officers also arrested Roy J. Deschler age 24 without incident at his Glassboro residence.  Deschler is charged with robbery by pushing a loss prevention officer at Washington Township Lowe’s store in the course of committing a theft. He was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department and was to be held without bail.
