FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH – Press Release from Franklin Twp Police Department – 3/7/2021

On Sunday March 7th at around 3:30 PM, Franklin Township Police Department responded to the area of Delsea Drive and Roosevelt Avenue for a single automobile crash into a utility pole. Police investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling north on Delsea Drive when the driver was suspected to have suffered a medical emergency causing him to go off the roadway and strike a pole. Upon police arrival, the driver, Jack Sparacio age 79 of Mt. Ephraim, was discovered to be unconscious and unresponsive. Sparacio was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill where he was pronounced deceased. The passenger, Kathleen Dibruno age 76 of Blackwood was transported to Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township and is in stable condition. The investigation is being completed by Officer Guzman of the Franklin Township Police Department. Assisting at the scene of the accident was Malaga Fire Department, Gloucester County EMS and Inspria Paramedics.
