CLAYTON MAN CHARGED AS HEROIN DEALER

          Nestor A. Cercet  age 31,  of Clayton was arrested on Thursday (12/5/17) and charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office with possession and distribution of heroin and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Cercet’s arrest followed execution of a search warrant at his apartment by officers of the GCPO’s Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force and the Clayton Police Department. Two other persons in the apartment were arrested on active warrants.  They are Desmond M. Catlett age 29, brother of Cercet and resident of the same apartment, on a Cherry Hill municipal court warrant, and Desiree N. Lutman  age 35, of Camden, on warrants from Moorestown and Seaside Heights NJ municipal courts. Cercet was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, second-degree distribution of CDS within 500 feet of a public park and possession of CDS paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense. Seized during the search was suspected heroin; paraphernalia typically used in packaging CDS and more than $2,000 in U.S. currency. Cercet is in Salem County Jail pending a detention hearing.  Catlett was jailed in Camden County and Lutman in Burlington County.
