WILDA JEAN BRYANT – Obituary

Wilda Jean (nee Yingling) Bryant, age 97, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Monroe Township, NJ.

Born on July 13, 1929, in North Manheim Township, PA, to the late Carl and Edith (nee Boyce) Yingling. Wilda was raised in Knoxville, PA, and graduated from Knoxville High School with the Class of 1948. She later became a 50-year resident of Bucks County, PA, where she built a life centered on family and hard work. In 2002, she moved to Winter Haven, Florida, where she resided for 14 years before making her home in Franklinville, New Jersey, in January 2016. Throughout every chapter of her life, she carried with her a steady spirit, a warm heart, and a deep appreciation for the people around her.

She was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for her family and creating a welcoming home. Wilda was the beloved wife of the late Richard Earl Bryant, and together they shared a life filled with love, companionship, and family. She is survived by her children, Bonnie L. Fey and her husband Chuck of Franklinville, NJ, Scott L. Bryant and his wife Maria of Forked River, NJ, Maxine H. Volz, widow of the late Brian, of Feasterville, PA, and Gregory E. Bryant of Hartwell, GA. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great pride and happiness.

Wilda enjoyed a life rich in interests and meaningful pastimes. She loved to travel in the family motor home and saw much of the United States along the way. She especially enjoyed gardening and tending to flowers. Wilda was also a cat lover, enjoyed archery, liked to read, and spent many happy hours playing cards and dominoes with friends. Her love of companionship and conversation made her a treasured friend to many, and she valued the time she spent with those she held dear.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Franklinville United Methodist Church, 1525 Coles Mill Road, Franklinville, NJ 08322, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the church.
