ANGELINA THERESA MELINO – Obituary
Angelina Theresa Melino (nee Brancato) of Franklinville, NJ went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2021. Daughter of the late Donato and Louisa (nee Pizzi) Brancato, she was born on July 11, 1925, and grew up in Philadelphia. Often known as “Blondie” for her platinum blonde hair, Angelina was the loving wife of the late Henry Melino and dedicated mother of their 3 children: Henry Melino, Mark Melino, and Joan Melino (spouse Victor Williams). Her greatest joys were her 5 grandchildren: Mark Melino, Jr., Keith Melino, Eric Melino, Brooke Melino, and Kaitlyn Melino.
Angelina worked and was a partner in Melino’s Hoagies located in South Philadelphia for over 25 years. She enjoyed summers in Ocean City, NJ and seeing her relatives and many friends. Angelina will be remembered for her kind heart and love towards everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, from 10-11 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ followed by a funeral mass at 11:45 AM at RC Church of the Nativity, 2677 Delsea Drive, Franklinville, NJ.
