ROBERT S. LOVE- Obituary
Robert S. Love, of Franklinville, New Jersey. affectionately known as Bobby to family and friends. Peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Born in Philadelphia to the late Melville and Josephine (nee Clark) Love and is also predeceased in death by his siblings Wilma Love, Joseph Love, and Donald Love. Bob was charming and magnetic and loved his family and friends more than anything. He especially delighted in watching them enjoy his cooking as he was a great cook. His other love was betting on the horse races and his favorite time of year was Triple Crown season. He will be missed by everyone who loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Patricia (nee Kolodziej) Love; his children, Laurie Ann (Tom) Kerr and Sheri Lynn (Heath) Whitehead. Sadly, he will also be missed by his 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends, and by his fur dad to Madge. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday morning, March 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home, 208 Maple Street Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral Home Services will follow at noon with a period of remembrance. Burial private. Arrangements in coordination with the Frank R. Gatto Funeral Home of Gloucester City, NJ.
