PEDESTRIAN MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH – Franklin Twp.

 

On Saturday, December 8th at around 9:38 pm, the Franklin Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Coles Mill Road and Delsea Drive for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.   Upon arrival, it was discovered that a 2004 Saturn Vue had been traveling east on Coles Mill Road when it struck a 34 year old male from Franklinville that was attempting to walk across Coles Mill Road from the Franklinville Inn parking lot.   The injured pedestrian suffered leg and head injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cooper Trauma Center.   The driver, a 60-year-old male from Franklinville and his passenger were not injured.      At this time there are no charges against the driver, who remained on the scene after the crash.   The pedestrian is listed in critical but stable condition at Cooper Trauma.   Assisting on the scene were the Franklinville Vol Fire Company, Inspira Paramedics and Gloucester County Ambulance.
