MARGARET ‘PEGGY’ DEFEO- Obituary
Margaret “Peggy” (Nelson) DeFeo died on Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was the wife of the late Angelo “Hio” DeFeo and was a lifelong resident of Clayton.
Peggy was an educational Secretary for the Gloucester County Superintendent’s Office, the Educational Information and Research Center (CIRC), and for Clayton Public Schools. Her love and respect for the students, parents, teachers, and administrators was maintained at all times.
Surviving are a son and daughter Renee Christy, her husband Chris, Ric DeFeo, of Clayton. A granddaughter, Angela Basolis and Brianna DeFeo of Elmer, and niece Lynn Gonelli and nephew Mike Gonelli of Monroeville. Her dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of Malaga and many loved nieces nephews and cousins. Her beloved friends, the Marchese family of Franklinville.
The viewing will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.
