The Franklin Township Police Department is now accepting applications for non-certified candidates who are interested in a career in law enforcement. The selected candidate will be appointed to attend the Gloucester County Police Academy as a SLEO Class II officer in August. The co-mingled academy class will consist of basic class recruits and Class II recruits and will allow the candidate the opportunity upon graduation to be eligible to apply for a full waiver from the Police Training Commission.
