HELEN R. PORCH

        Helen R. Porch (nee Yeager) on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.  Age 99.  Wife of the late Chalkley W. Porch.  Mother of Elizabeth Mattson; Miriam Metzger; Mary Ann Larson; Joan Dare; Chalkley Porch, Jr.; Diane Forson; Bonnie Miller; Joyce Brewer; and the late Helen Jacobs.  Survived by many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Paul August and Helene (nee Carson) Yeager.

         Born and raised in New York City until age 10, Helen was a longtime resident of Monroeville before moving to Malaga 18 months ago.  She attended the Aura Elementary School and volunteered as a nurse’s aid.  Helen was a member of the Aura United Methodist Church as well as the Crafty Christian Ladies of Aura UMC.  She was an avid reader and loved gardening, especially growing flowers.

       Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
