Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Friday, June 12th Gloucester County has conducted 17,013 total tests. Of these cases, 14,630 have come back negative.Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,383. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 13 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2371st case is an 85-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2372nd case is an 81-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2373rd case is an 83-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2374th case is a 56-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 2375th case is a 47-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 2376th case is a 60-year-old male from Clayton.
The 2377th case is a 56-year-old male from Clayton.
The 2378th case is a 21-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 2379th case is an 18-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 2380th case is a 15-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 2381st case is a 56-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 2382nd case is a 60-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2383rd case is a 61-year-old male from Mantua.

Gloucester County has 158 COVID-19 related deaths. The 158th patient death was a 56-year-old male from West Deptford.


The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity. Please note that the call center is not able to diagnose or give medical recommendations. Healthcare providers should be contacted if medical advice is needed. People should call their doctor or hospital before going so healthcare staff can provide instructions on getting care. Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
