Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19

As of Thursday, May 28, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 12,454 total tests. Of these cases, 10,271 have come back negative and 0 are pending. Three cases have been moved out of County.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 36 cases to report. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,183 Of those cases:

The 2151st case is a 47-year-old female from Clayton.
The 2152nd case is a 59-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 2153rd case is a 29-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 2154th case is an 82-year-old female from Woodbury.
The 2155th case is a 33-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 2156th case is an 86-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2157th case is a 28-year-old female from Monroe Twp.

Gloucester County has 142 COVID-19 related deaths.
The 142nd patient death was a 72-year-old female from West Deptford.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
