Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident – Franklin Twp. Piney Hollow
Press Release from Franklin Township Police Department 2/3/2020
On Saturday, February 1, 2020 at approximately 6:43 a.m., Franklin Township Police were dispatched to the area of Piney Hollow Road and Dutch Mill Road for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Police investigation revealed a 2009 Infiniti FX3 was traveling north on Piney Hollow Road when it left the roadway and struck a stationary trailer on the property of 2034 Piney Hollow Road. The victim was identified as 41 year old Hector Lopez of Mays Landing. Lopez was pronounced deceased on the scene. The accident is being investigated by Ofc. Davey. Assisting with the crash was the Forest Grove Fire Department, Gloucester County EMS, and Inspira Paramedics.
