FATAL ATV CRASH

On Friday, August 19th at approximately 11pm, Franklin Township Police were dispatched to Little Mill Road, Franklinville and the railroad crossing for a report of an ATV crash. Police investigation revealed a 2007 Honda ATV operated by a James Mccormick age 24 of Clayton was traveling south on the railroad tracks approaching Little Mill Road. James lost control of his vehicle and was ejected causing severe injuries. James was not wearing a helmet. Gloucester County EMS and Inspira Paramedics arrived on scene and rendered medical aid. James was transported to Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill where he was pronounced deceased. On the scene assistance was provided by the Franklinville Fire Department, Gloucester County EMS, and Inspira Paramedics.
