DOLORES AUDREY SCHADE – Obituary
Dolores Audrey Schade (nee Kegg) of Clayton on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Age 87. Wife of 55 years to the late William Parker Schade. Mother of William Charles Schade and Richard Meredith Schade. Daughter of the late Franklin L. & Edith F. (nee Gallagher) Schade. Sister of the late Jeanne Sinclair and Marcelyn Albater.
Born in Johnstown, PA and raised in Camden where she attended Woodrow Wilson High School, Dolores lived in Gloucester and later Bellmawr before moving to Clayton in 1967. Prior to having children, she worked as an operator for Bell Telephone and then focused on raising her children, taking care of her husband, and tending to their home. Dolores enjoyed baking and liked decorating cakes. She very much enjoyed being outside in her yard, especially planting flowers and gardening. During the younger years of her family, they enjoyed family vacations camping up and down the East Coast. In her later years, Dolores liked to read and do crossword puzzles, or as she described it, “Exercise for her brain.”
