Several handguns were seized during executions of search warrants after the incident.

In accordance with negotiated pleas, Superior Court Judge M. Christine Allen-Jackson sentenced Anthony Vanblarcom to six years in New Jersey state prison and Lazzaro Vanblarcom to seven years, saying imprisonment was necessary “for the adequate protection of society.” In the same incident, a charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted person is still pending against a third defendant, Dewayne Demby age 29, of Woodbury.
