ANNA MARIE (PARISI) WEICHMANN – Obituary

Anna Marie (Parisi) Weichmann, age 51, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior after fighting a battle with cancer that could not be won here on earth. She passed on the morning of July 29th, with family by her side.
She was born on August 18th, 1965 to Daniel and Patricia (DeMarco) Parisi. Anna grew up in Franklinville, NJ.  She graduated from Delsea Regional High School in 1984, where she was a great athlete and crowned homecoming queen. It was at that high school where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life Michael Weichmann. Not long after graduating they married and moved to Mullica Hill, NJ where they welcomed their first born Michael in 1987.  In 1991 they were blessed with their little girl Kaitlyn.  For 11 years she raised her two children and then was surprisingly blessed with a third child Jake in 2002. She was an amazing wife, the best mother, and a selfless woman who always put her family first. Anna enjoyed the outdoors, exercising, traveling and was an amazing cook. She was a loving, caring, strong, fun and feisty woman who always knew how to make someone smile and laugh.  Anna was strong in her faith and did not let her battle with cancer change that.
She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Patricia Parisi, her sister Denise (Ric) Van Dine, her brother Louis (Gigi) Parisi, 13 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many other family members and friends. Anna was loved by so many and impacted the lives of more people than we know. While our hearts hurt because she is no longer walking this earth with us, we find much comfort in knowing she was finally healed from that terrible disease and is living in Paradise with her Savior watching over us.
A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Saturday August 5th, 12 Noon at Calvary Hill Church, 535 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time.  Luncheon to follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Anna to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia [to support oncology family services]. Checks made out to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation can be mailed to P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352. Please remember to write in memory of Anna Weichmann on the memo line of the check.
