AGAINST SOUTH JERSEY WAREHOUSE BOOM

This warehouse boom will effect everyone in South Jersey because warehouses will adorn the entire Rt 55, Rt. 40, Rt 47, Rt. 295, Rt 322 and beyond. It is a cancer metastasizing all over South Jersey. There will be nothing but gridlock of truck traffic that will rain down on us making daily travel to work or the weekend traffic to the shore, city and other locations north, south and west difficult. No one will enjoy driving anywhere! The residents living on the far ends of these roadways may not feel it when they get home at night, but, they all will suffer loss of their freedom of movement by losing time spent waiting to get anywhere that will take a toll on their health also. Home values will plummet for much of these areas. No real tax relief will come from this warehouse boom and we will not benefit at all. It will cost us much more money by giving these warehouse owners tax abatement’s. They will operate day and night and the added noise and traffic will not amount to tax savings that these developers promise that it will bring. I encourage everyone to attend local meetings and tell your officials to vote against warehouse sprawl.
