TERRENCE D. CULLIN- Obituary

Terrence D. Cullin passed away in his sleep on September 1st, 2021. He was born January 28th, 1955 in Metuchen, NJ to Sarah (McNulty) and Hugh Cullin. He was the youngest of four boys: Daniel (Mary), Hugh Jr., and James (Gillian). He is predeceased by his father Hugh, mother Sarah (nee McNulty), and brother Hugh, Jr. He grew up in Glassboro, a popular young man with everyone he met. Early on he received the nickname he would be known by from those who knew him best: Two Dots. He played football for Glassboro High School (#73) as a center and tackle.

After graduating High School in 1974, Terry worked at Johns Manville in Berlin in the warehouse where he worked until retirement 38 years later. In 1976 he met the woman he would spend his life with, Elizabeth (Maher). Two Dots and “Serious from Caesar’s” were married in 1978, first residing in Clementon, then Glassboro, then finally to Clayton where they began to grow their family. He loved his children Kathleen (Dan), Terrence, Jr. (Lisa), and Thomas (Lauren) and his grandchildren Sara, Meghan, and Ryan. He was a loving “Grunkle” to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Terry was never a fan of the beach, but every summer he would take his family to the shore to enjoy the sun and surf. Terry enjoyed occasional deep sea night fishing, watching (and napping during) NASCAR races, and hanging out with his extensive group of great friends at Villari’s in Franklinville.

Terry loved people- he could (and often did) talk to anyone about anything. His gift was making connections with others.
