STANLEY J. GANZER, JR. – Obituary

    Stanley J. Ganzer, Jr., of Gerber, California was called home by Our Lord on Wednesday, February 17 th, 2021. He was 79 years old.   He was a humble man with a heart of gold and a true family man. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 1948 his parents with their children moved to Southern California and in 1971, he and his family moved to Piney Hollow and lived there for their 32 years.   He enjoyed western movies, Elvis, salt water fishing and dancing. Above all, he loved being a grandfather and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was always jolly and brought joy and laughter to everyone.  

He served with honor to his country in Vietnam from 1963-1965 and was a decorated sharp shooter. He was a member of VFW Post 11014 and was honored by the Drapping of the Post Charter.   He retired as a welder after 20 years service with the State of New Jersey.  

Stanley was predeceased by his sister Eileen Ganzer Martinez. He leaves behind his dear brother Michael Ganzer and sisters Trudy Ganzer LaCoste and Kathy Ganzer Hirtzel.   He was the loving father of Lisa Ganzer Fithian and Kim Ganzer Orr, the daughters of Lydia Ganzer. He was the loving grandfather to Adrienne Ganzer, Taylor Bekeshka and Noah Bekeshka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.   Due to Covid-19 restrictions at this time, the family will hold a Memorial Mass at a later date.
