ROBIN (WESTERGAARD) JONES – Obituary
Robin (Westergaard) Jones, 66, of Elmer, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2024 shortly after arrival at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, New Jersey. Robin was born in Vineland, raised in Newfield and was a lifelong S. Jersey resident. She was the daughter of the late Richard B. & Ruth A. (Wescoat) Westergaard.
Robin was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1976. She went on to attend Stockton State College for Accounting. During her school years she enjoyed working at a local produce stand before her starting her career at Vineland Poultry Lab where she met her future husband. Robin enjoyed her career at the Poultry Lab until her health no longer allowed. She was raised in the Methodist church and over the years worshipped at the Newfield Methodist Church, Olivet United Methodist Church and was currently a member of Friendship Finley United Methodist Church. Robin enjoyed crafting especially ceramics and shopping.
Survived by her husband of 45 years; Kenneth W. Jones, Jr., 2 brothers; Richard “Rick” & Reid Westergaard, Brother in-law; John Jones & wife Colleen, Her nephews; James “Jaime” & Michelle Jones, Shawn & Kimberly Price, Niece; Brooke & Blaine Price, as well as many cousins.
Relatives & friends will be received on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, New Jersey, where her funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Friendship Finley U.M. Church Cemetery, Bridgeton, NJ.
