Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Saturday, July 4th Gloucester County has conducted 22,746 total tests. Of these cases, 20,118 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,628 and has 180 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 12 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2617th case is a 76-year-old male from Clayton.
The 2618th case is an 87-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2619th case is a 91-year-old female from Greenwich.
Th 2620th case is a 23-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 2621st case is a 28-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 2622nd case is a 52-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 2623rd case is a 23-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 2624th case is a 29-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2625th case is a 64-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2626th case is a 30-year-old female from Mantua.
The 2627th case is an 86-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2628th case is a 24-year-old female from Glassboro.

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.

Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
