DOROTHY MOYER – Obituary
Dorothy Moyer (nee Ryan) on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Age 69. Mother of Bobbi Jo Moyer (Chuck Fry) of Deptford. Mommom of Joey and Tommy Moyer. Sister of Patricia Fanz (George), Mary Manzi (late James), the late James B. Ryan, Jr., Joseph Ryan (Denise), William Ryan (Anne), Bernice Rimkis (Joseph), Francis Ryan (Kathy), and Joanne Ryan. Daughter of the late James B. & Mattie Lee (nee Perry) Ryan. Special sister-in-law of David Hensley, B.J. Ryan, and the late Joe Rappo. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy was raised in Clayton where she was a longtime resident before moving to Deptford eight years ago. She was a 1970 graduate of Clayton High School and was a longtime employee of GMR Marketing where she worked as a Marketing Manager.
Dorothy liked to go to the casinos and loved going on cruises. She volunteered with the local PBA and FOP with event planning. Long before there was Uber, Dorothy was the family taxi or designated driver when someone needed a ride. She was very active with her grandchildren. Joey and Tommy were her world!
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
