DELSEA SPORTS WRAP UP

Delsea sports seasons are firing right back up again along with the school year . Boy and girls soccer, Field Hockey, Girl and boys cross country, Girls tennis, and Football have all been working hard to start their seasons right. Girl tennis and Football have both started their seasons this week.
Girls tennis started strong and won against Triton. The girls won 5-0 against the opposing team.
Delsea football had an amazing game against Delran September 2nd. Holding a lead of 21-0 up until half time. Third quarter Delran scored, making it 28-7. Continuing the game Delran only scored once more and the final score was 42-12. Delsea dominated the game getting 14 points first quarter, 7 points second quarter, 7 points third quarter, and fourth quarter getting 14 more points. Meanwhile Delran only scored 7 third quarter, and 7 in the fourth quarters of the game. Wayne Aidar scored two touchdowns during the game. Dom Teti got one touchdown after intercepting a pass. Jaeydan Stewart had a hat trick accumulating 3 touchdowns for Delsea. Carr kicked each field goal.
The remaining teams have yet to start their games but will within the next week. Many of Delseas’ sports fans are excited to see how the Delsea teams do this fall season.
