BARBARA ANN CANNON – Obituary

Barbara Ann Cannon (nee Ledden) of Clayton on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  Age 82.  Wife of 24 years to the late Walter C. Cannon.  Mother of Walter C. (wife Linda) Cannon, Jr.; Edythe Cannon; Estelle Cannon, and William Cannon.  Grandmother of 5 and Great-grandmother of 4.  Sister of Harry Ledden, Betty McBride, Eleanor Duffy, Linda Hosford, Allen Ledden, and the late Donald Ledden.  Daughter of the late Harry and Edith (nee Redmond) Ledden.

Born and raised in Clayton, Barbara was a 30 year resident of Sicklerville before returning to Clayton two years ago.  She was a 1954 graduate of Glassboro High School where she enjoyed playing basketball.  Barbara worked at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia before starting her family.  Later in life, she worked at Wanamaker’s Warehouse in Bellmawr before retiring in 1985.  Barbara enjoyed art and was a great drawing artist herself.
