Amazon has started hiring for the upcoming holiday shopping season. As a part of the 9,000 full-time, part-time and seasonal roles open across New Jersey, Amazon is hiring for 700 full-time, permanent, part-time and season roles in its Logan Township fulfillment center this week. Candidates can walk-in, apply and receive a job offer on-the-spot at the week’s upcoming hiring event. Amazon expects to make hundreds of on-the-spot job offers. Job Details
Beginning November 1st, the recently announced Amazon $15 minimum wage will apply to all hourly associates at New Jersey area facilities and this is on top of Amazon’s industry-leading benefits, which apply for full-time, part-time, and seasonal associates. Amazon associates will also have access to the innovative Career Choice program, which pre-pays 95% of tuition for courses in high-demand fields and flexible schedules and Career Skills, which trains hourly associates in critical job skills like resume writing, how to communicate effectively, and computer basics.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
