Notice of Public Hearing Regarding the Proposed Amendment, Extension, or Alteration of the Superintendent’s Employment Contract Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, notice is hereby given that the Delsea Regional School District Board of Education, located at 242 Fries Mill Road, Franklinville, NJ 08322, will hold a public hearing on the proposed contract extension of the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Francis Ciociola, at a special hearing scheduled for: Date: October 1, 2025 Time: 7:00pm Location: Delsea Regional High School – Middle School Media Center 242 Fries Mill Road, Franklinville, NJ 08322. The Board of Education is considering a modification/extension of the employment contract for the Superintendent, in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11. The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to comment on the proposed contract addendum prior to Board action. The Board pursuant to Open Public Meetings Act, specifically N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b), shall not publicly discuss personnel matters. However the Board will give all comments appropriate consideration. A copy of the proposed contract will be made available to the public at the Business Office and on the district website at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing. Please be aware that the subject of this hearing retains the rights of privacy and shall retain all rights regarding defamation and slander to the laws of New Jersey. The Board shall not be held liable for comments made by members of the public.
