February 10, 1950 – August 24, 2020. Salvatore R. DeMarco, on August 24, 2020, of Clayton, NJ. Age 70. Beloved husband of 49 years to his high school sweetheart, Virginia (nee Ebbecke). Devoted father of Melissa Kee (Mike), Amy Troia (Angelo), and Salvatore DeMarco, Jr. Loving PopPop of Ashley, Michael, Angelina, Julianna, and Gabriella. Dear brother of Patricia Thurston (Gene) and Raymond DeMarco, Jr (Cheryl) Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Beloved son of the late Raymond Joseph and Evelyn (nee Chierici) DeMarco.
Sal was born in Camden, raised in Bellmawr, NJ, and a longtime resident of Williamstown before moving to Clayton. He graduated from Triton High School, class of 1968, and had a long career in printing until retiring in 2016.
Sal was a man who loved God first, loved his wife, family and friends, music, and good Italian food. Sal was a dedicated provider and spent many years camping and fishing with his family. He always greeted everyone with love and everyone was welcome in his house. You never felt like a stranger when you were around him, and his love touched more people than he ever knew. His presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit and wisdom will live on through his children and grandchildren.
