ROBERT BUTTERICK, SR. – Obituary

Robert Butterick, Sr. passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family in Clayton, New Jersey on August 10, 2017, at the age of 79.

Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carmela (Giuliani) Butterick, son, Robert Butterick Jr. (Nicole); siblings, Barbara Alfieri and Frank Butterick. Grandchildren, Robert Butterick III (Lisa), Joseph Butterick (Francesca), Franklin Butterick (Ashley), Kimberly Wolf (Bill), and Anastasia Butterick. Great grandchildren, Chase, Brittany, Landon Butterick and Adelina Wolf.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Florence Butterick, daughter, Kimberly Ann Butterick, siblings, Mae Bransdorf, John Butterick, Charles Butterick, Ruth Wolfe, Edward Butterick, and Thomas Butterick.

Robert was born on November 8th, 1937 in the Bronx, New York.  He married Carmela Giuliani in 1957. After moving to Clayton, New Jersey he began working for Owens Corning Fiber Glass as a Mechanic. Robert served in the New York and New Jersey National Guard and was a member of the Clayton, Franklinville and Elk Township seniors club. He loved fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 where friends may call from 10:00 AM until service time.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robert’s life.  Interment Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Glassboro.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org or 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton NJ 08053.  Sign the guest book and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
