Raymond Miller

Raymond Miller, age 89 years and 363 days, “Gone fishing” on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Born September 15, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. He lived a long, humble, but amazing life. Some knew him as Ray, most simply as Pa. He loved his wife Jenny (Yia Yia to most) of 65 years more than anything in this world. Even more than fishing. When he wasn’t fishing. He was a simple blue collar man who enjoyed working with his hands and inventing all sorts of things. A provider. A machinist. A carpenter. A fisherman. A poker player. A story teller.

Survivors: Daughter Christine, Grandson John, Great granddaughter Gabriella

Predeceased: Parents Harry and Cecelia Miller. Wife Jenny Miller

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when my time comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray: When in the lord’s great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in his mercy I be judged big enough to keep.
