AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 60, GARBAGE AND TRASH OF THE CODE BOOK OF THE BOROUGH OF CLAYTON
This ordinance was introduced at a meeting held on the 13th of November, 2025. It is scheduled for a public hearing and final adoption at a meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Clayton beginning at 6:00 PM on the 30th of December, 2025 at the Municipal Building, 125 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton, New Jersey.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to replace Chapter 60, “Garbage and Trash”, in its entirety as the Borough is transitioning from manual trash collection to automated trash and recycling collection beginning with its new solid waste and recycling contract in 2026. The ordinance addresses the requirements and procedures for the new way of trash collection.
A copy of this Ordinance can be obtained without any cost, by any member of the general public in the Borough Clerk’s office with the Borough of Clayton, in the Municipal Building, 125 North Delsea Drive, Clayton, New Jersey, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8: 00 AM to 4:00 PM.
