MARK ANTHONY RODGER BURNS- Obituary
Mark Anthony Rodger Burns, age 44, of Franklinville, passed away suddenly at his childhood home on May 17, 2025. He was born on June 10, 1980 in Marlton. Mark was a 1998 graduate of Delsea Regional HS and worked different jobs all over South Jersey until settling down as a loyal employee at Lowes. He was predeceased by his MomMoms Mary Burns and Mary McNamara, his PopPop Larry McNamara, his great Uncle Rog and his Uncle Jackie.
Mark is survived by his loving son Connor and Connor’s mom Amie. He is the son of Michael and Terri and brother to Jeff (Cheryl) and Greg (Dawn). Mark will be deeply missed by all who knew him including his PopPop Burns, his Uncles Francis (Chris) and Patrick, his nieces and nephews Cody, Dalton, Aidan, Landon, Billy, Amanda, Michael, Colin, Abby and so many more loved ones.
Mark’s second families are the ones where he grew up on Ely Ave, especially Cathy, Tom, Tommy, Jaclyn and his many childhood friends. Mark loved hanging out with his son especially watching and going to wresting events together, watching the Phillies, his Orioles, the beloved Eagles and the Flyers. He enjoyed going on his car rides and stopping at Wawa every day, his Wednesday dinners in Atco and just spending time with Connor, family and friends. Although Mark is gone, he will live in our hearts forever. As we struggle with his loss and is no longer with us, we know he is smiling down on all of us from Heaven.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at Nativity Church, St. Michael’s Parish in Franklinville, NJ. Viewing will start at 9:00am followed by mass at 10:30am. Internment immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Church of Nativity, 2677 Delsea Dr., Franklinville, NJ 08322.
