LEO ANTHONY FROELICH – Obituary

Leo Anthony Froelich on Monday, April 16, 2018.  Age 84.  Husband of 57 years to the late Mary Lou Froelich (nee Priestley), his high school sweetheart and the love of his life.  Father of Theresa Stranc, Mary Lou Froelich. Nancy Brown, and the late Leo A. Froelich, Jr. and Michael Froelich.  Grandfather and great-grandfather to many.  Also survived by many other family and friends.  Son of the late Louis Anthony and Mary Victoria (nee Wolfinger) Froelich.

Born on February 23, 1934, in Camden where he was raised as well as later in Sewell, Leo moved to Harrisonville where he raised his family.  He briefly lived in Arcadia, FL recently before moving to Millsboro, DE to be closer to family as his health declined.  Leo worked as a maintenance mechanic at Owens-Illinois in Glassboro for many years as well as The Corner Bar.  He was a member of the Beagles Club.  His daughters find comfort knowing he is finally back with his Mary Lou.  “Rest in Peace Dad.”

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name of Jesus RC Church, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.  Inurnment to follow at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, 339 Swedesboro-Paulsboro Road, Woolwich Township, NJ  08085.  Arrangements under the direction of the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
