LEAH MARIE DICKSON- Obituary
Leah Marie Dickson (née Knight), age 40, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Washington Township, New Jersey. She was the beloved daughter of Lorraine A. Knight (née Sheared) and Richard A. Knight, and she was the devoted sister of Ryan C. Knight and his wife, Mindy. Leah was a loving aunt to Ryan Knight, Jr. and Brayden Knight. She is also survived by her aunts, Ellen Sheared and Marie Sheared; her uncle, George Sheared; and her cousins: Nurah Muhammed, Robert Sheared, April Sheared, Angel Sheared, Raymond Sheared, Jr., and Brian Sheared. Leah’s memory will be forever cherished by her entire family, who will remember her with deep love and affection.
Leah was born on June 15, 1984, in the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts. She was raised in the close-knit community of Franklinville, New Jersey, where she formed lasting memories and strong family bonds. A proud 2002 graduate of Delsea Regional High School, Leah’s early accomplishments reflected her resilience and dedication. For the past three years, she made her home in Washington Township, where she continued to touch lives with her warmth and kindness. Throughout her life, Leah worked in retail and devoted many years to caring for individuals with disabilities. Her compassionate heart, gentle presence, and unwavering patience made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Leah had a joyful spirit and a creative soul. She had a passion for arts and crafts, often bringing beauty and thoughtfulness into everything she created. She loved to dance and found joy in moving freely to music. She also enjoyed the quiet challenge of crossword puzzles, always eager to engage her curious mind. Above all, Leah adored children and deeply treasured time spent with her family.
