LAWRENCE JOSEPH ‘LARRY’ BOTTARO- Obituary
Lawrence Joseph “Larry” Bottaro passed on to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Loving husband of 65 years to the late Kathleen “Babe” Bottaro (nee Mansi); Father to Tina Bottaro & Tracey Gay (Tim); Grandfather to TJ and Teri Blasscyk and Tori and Tia Gay; Uncle to Charles DeMarco (Tara), Joseph DeMarco (Jody), James Mansi (Karen) & Joseph Mansi (Maureen), Geri Johnson (Bob), Kathy Cammarota (Mike), Bettye Tremper (Pete). Larry was predeceased by his only sister Domenica DeMarco.
Larry was born and raised in South Philadelphia, Italian Market. He helped run the family business Bottaro & Son Fruit & Produce in the Italian Market. Larry and Babe moved to Franklinville, NJ in 1966.
Larry continued to run the family business until they moved to Franklinville, then he started at Sears where he worked until he retired in 1995. After retirement Larry enjoyed spending time in his workshop, with his family at the beach (North Wildwood) and Molly Hill Farm. He was happiest sitting around the dinner table surrounded by family and he will be missed by many.
Viewing is Thursday, September 26, 2024, 7-9 PM and Friday, September 27, 2024, 10:30-11:30 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Mass will be Friday, at 12 PM at Saint Catherine of Siena RC Church, 49 W. North Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
