Kathryn Louise Pinero – Obituary
Kathryn Louise Pinero (nee Reigottie) on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Age 85½. Wife of the late Juan Antonio Pinero, Sr. Mother of Kathryn L. Rojas (Edward) and Juan “Jon” A. Pinero, Jr., both of Clayton. Grandmother of Brianna K. Metzger (Joshua) of East Falls, PA; Brandon T. Pinero of Gloucester City; Shane E. Rojas of Clayton; and Gavin A. Pinero of Clayton. Sister of the late Ronald L. Reigottie (Barbara A., surviving). Daughter of the late Ronald Louis Reigottie& Kathryn Louise (nee Barber) Reigottie Nulle. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her two closest friends later in life, “Little John” and the late “Big John”.
Born in Patterson, NJ, Kathryn was a longtime resident of Connecticut before moving to Glassboro in 1986 and later to Clayton 28 years ago. She worked for many years as a Collections Agent at several places in Connecticut and most recently for Dr. Gaetano Morea in Marlton until her retirement in 1999. Kathryn loved to go to the casinos and visited there often for many years. She enjoyed bowling throughout her life and was a regular at the Glass Bowl in Glassboro participating in various leagues. In later years, Kathryn enjoyed watching the Game Show Network and the rebroadcast of old game shows. She often enjoyed playing games including Dominos, Cribbage, and dice games and loved to spend time with her family. Known to many as “Auntie”, Kathryn was very friendly and enjoyed talking to people, especially to brag about her grandchildren. Her potato salad was liked by everyone, and her children lovingly recall her kindness, patience, and courage.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday, August 30, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a celebration of her life beginning at 7:30 PM.
