JOHN DEGROSA, JR. – Obituary

       John DeGrosa, Jr. of Franklinville on Thursday, August 3, 2017.  Age 88.  Husband of the late Lucille Marie (nee Souza) DeGrosa.  Father of Debbie (Bill) Olivero, John (Jean) DeGrosa, III and the late Louann Widner.  Brother of Bob (late Sarah) DeGrosa.  Son of the late John and Sylvia Mary (nee Barr) DeGrosa.

         Born and raised in Philadelphia until 1941, John lived briefly in Berlin before moving to Franklinville 65 years ago.  He proudly served in the US Navy and worked as a boiler operator with BP Oil for 38 years until his retirement in 1990.  As a child John spend summers in Wildwood with Grandma Barr and later enjoyed summer vacations with his wife and kids in Strathmere.  Throughout the years, he also enjoyed fishing.
