JOANNE LYNNE VAUGHAN- Obituary

Joanne Lynne Vaughan, age 68, on January 24, 2026, in Camden, New Jersey. Devoted mother of Stacy L. Staino (Rich) of Mullica Hill; the late Timothy R. Martin; and Drue P. Martin (Jessica) of Elmer. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren: Marissa Staino; Julianna Staino; Jordyn Martin (Destiny); the late Shelbi Martin; Ava Martin; Leah Martin; Noelle Martin; and Olivia Martin. Proud great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren: Bianca Lopez; Arriya Lopez; Liam Martin; Emma Martin; and Lucas Martin. She was the beloved daughter of the late William Anthony Vaughan and Hannah Vaughan (née Davis). Joanne was predeceased by all nine of her siblings: Charles Vaughan; Francis “Tommy” Vaughan; William Vaughan; Catherine Feese; Howard “Skip” Vaughan; Mary Vaughan; Matthew Vaughan; and her siblings who passed in early childhood, Eleanor and Earl. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne was raised in Franklinville and attended Delsea Regional High School. For several years she lived in Pittsgrove and has most recently been a resident of Elmer for over 20 years. Joanne devoted more than two decades of service as a teacher’s assistant at HollyDell School in Hurffville. Her work reflected her patience, compassion, and lifelong dedication to caring for children.

Family was the center of Joanne’s life. After raising her own children, she lovingly raised the children of her late son, Timothy, and later the children of her late granddaughter, Shelbi. She found great joy in attending the many activities of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, including sporting events, dance competitions and recitals, and school plays. Joanne also enjoyed music and was an enthusiastic concertgoer, particularly fond of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and various tribute bands Joanne Lynne Vaughan will be remembered for her selfless devotion to her family, her strength, and the enduring love she gave to generations who were blessed to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.
