JEFFERSON K. TUGBE – Obituary

Jefferson K. Tugbe of Clayton on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.  Age 66.  Father of Derek, Caroline, Sarah, Jimmy Ethel, and Charles Wion, all of Liberia.  Grandfather of 10.  Brother of Evelyn Brown of Clayton, Elizabeth Williams, Isaac Wion, Alice Wion, and Tugbe Wion.  Son of the late Tugbe Wion and Nancy Queson.

Born and raised in Liberia, Jefferson moved to New York City in 1980 where he lived until 2014 when he moved to Clayton.  He worked as a Yellow Cab Taxi driver in New York City for 18 years and was also a minister of the gospel before retiring due to health reasons.  Jefferson was a very religious man and enjoyed visiting old folks in NYC to share the Gospel.  His sister Evelyn remembers him as a kind and caring person.
