Homicide Investigation – Glassboro (Glouc County NJ)
On Sunday, November 3rd at approximately 10 pm, Glassboro Police were dispatched to the
railroad tracks in the area between the Glassboro High School and the Bowe Elementary School for the
report of a deceased male. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male subject deceased from an
apparent gunshot wound to his head. The victim was identified as Oscar Guerrier (age 27), from
Glassboro.
An autopsy conducted by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner determined that Guerrier suffered
two (2) gunshot wounds, to the head and upper torso, and the manner of death was homicide.
Investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and Glassboro Police Department is
ongoing. This is believed to have been an isolated incident, with no current threat to the local community.
