Henry James Hall, Sr. of Newfield on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at age 62. Father of Brenda M. (Michael J.) Berry of Mount Laurel, Henry J. ‘Harry’ Hall, Jr., Audrey J. (Jake) Figueroa of Blackwood, and Holly N. (Keith Dessin) Hall of Newfield.  Grandfather of Ethan M. Berry, Dallas Hall, Leo Hall, Jacob Figueroa, Collin Quintana, Landen Schweers, and Layla Dessin.  Brother of Mary Ann Huetter, Barbara Lalli, Barry Hall, and Richard Hall.  Son of the late Henry R. and Anna Lillian (nee Wolfe) Hall.  Also survived by his friend and mother of his children Carol Marie Chapman of Pitman.
Born in Vineland, Henry was a 50+ year resident of Franklinville before moving to Newfield.  He was a 1974 graduate of Delsea Regional High School and briefly attended Gloucester County College.  Henry worked for the Music Place in Berlin for a number of years before becoming a Sales Representative for South Jersey Gas for 20 years until his retirement in 2009.  He loved music and played drums in a couple of rock bands in his younger years.  Henry was also big into classic cars and enjoyed rebuilding and restoring them for classic car shows.  He also enjoyed racing at Atco Raceway and loved his grandchildren.  His children fondly remember the family vacations in Ocean City which were a favorite of his and which they have continued on with their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Memorial service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
