Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Sunday, July 19th Gloucester County has conducted 28,006 total tests. Of these cases, 25,175 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,831 and has 190 COVID-19 related deaths.One case has been moved out of County.Today, Gloucester County has an additional 12 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2820th case is a 74-year-old male from Pitman; the 2821st case is a 16-year-old male from West Deptford; the 2822nd case is a 20-year-old female from Newfield; he 2823rd case is a 93-year-old male from Franklin Twp.; he 2824th case is a 57-year-old male from Harrison Twp.; he 2825th case is a 45-year-old female from East Greenwich; the 2826th case is a 66-year-old male from Swedesboro; the 2827th case is a 51-year-old female from Washington Twp.; the 2828th case is a 75-year-old female from Woodbury; the 2829th case is a 43-year-old female from Monroe Twp.; the 2830th case is a 32-year-old male from Deptford; the 2831st case is a 69-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity.
